A lot of Wing Chun "changes" are actually changes of understanding folks go though as they understand more and more of the concepts behind Wing Chun's Science of Fighting.

Things I was once told Wing Chun "never" does are really ok when done with Wing CHun concepts behind them. The one thing I have learned in Wing Chun is to "Never say never and never say always".
