Thank you! I appreciate
all your insights.
I guess in a nutshell and what your both
are saying is that Wing chun or any art for that matter is really up
to the individual to discover what really does work and interpret
what they learn in accordance to their own experience as well as
that of the teachers.
I guess we all have to remember that
not all teachers are a perfect examples of what they teach either,
and some are just better guides than others with alot of information
give but not necessarily enough applied science or practical
experience. So it's really up to the student in the end, if he has
the will and determination, to want to surpass his teachers by
actually experimenting as much as possible. I guess as Sifu Duncan
once mentioned, practical knowledged of the art can only be optained
through actual sparring or
fighting. | |
