To the best of my knowledge and belief, there are no "secret instructions" or "concealed forms" in Yip Man's teaching. Any deviations from Yip Man's Wing Chun are due, in my opinion, to differences in interpretation on the part of his students and their students, rather than in what he taught. In one particular instance, incidentally, Yip Man did change something in the first form, but he was quite open about this, and explained the practical reason for the modification.*

* In the second part of the first form, Yip Man changed the movement, originally from tan sau to jum sau to tan sau to gang sau.
