I am curious Mr Rollins, did Mr
Edwards tell you about the "shock poles" ? Will you tell me
something of thier use ? As sifu mentioned, the pole was used to
train with in the manner he stated. There are numerous training
aides within wing chun. I have observed this throughout my training.
When learning the exercise or training aide , usually it is
explained. I have been told before that I can't see the forrest for
the trees, but that was in my early days of learning. May I
e-mail Mr Edwards to ask him myself of this "shock pole" technique ?
Or may I e-mail you to inquier more ? Please post a e-mail address
if that is ok ? I do respect Moy Yat, as he was one of the old
teachers in america of which I would advise one to have learned
from. Duncan Leung, Moy Yat, Hawkins Chung or Wong Shun Leung, Ho
Kam Ming or William Chung... any of which I would have advised to
seek training from a few year ago. One of my favorite pok sao
uses is to combine it with chop choy and then break knee.
Sir rhino you have a good imagination my friend, but Sifu
did not use a cattle "electric" prod to shock his students, that I
am aware of. Thank
