Years ago I had trained Meadows and Edwards. I have never certified any of my students, nor have I discouraged anyone to become an instructor.
When you look for a good instructor you should not just be impressed by the prospect's self-presentation. The essence is: look for someone with actual combat experience, one who can explain the techniques with real meaning.
